This weekend preview is wall to wall guests with Coach K from CHS Football and Timmy's old hood checking in as well as the debut visit from our source for all things sports at Boston College. WZBC's Carl Koubek brings his insight to the show from Hockey East to women's softball (we think he might cover the debate team as well). Also big news on the fantasy front as an unknown throws his hat into the ring for fantasy hoops and Rubba Shoes battles the sniffles while divulging that he actually has a 5th side job! We'll get the pigskin picks from the guys and find out why Uncle Dukes is broadcasting from the road. It's all right here on the all new weekend preview of the Wicked Pissa Podcast. Thanks for listening and have a great weekend.theshow@wickedpissadude.com

When 50% of the teams we talk about win their games, it's usually a great day on the Wicked Pissa Dude Podcast, but in this case it was the least consequential teams that won. I often joke with Timmy about his man crush on #22, Doug Flutie, but there is no denying that Flutie is etched firmly into the history books of Boston sports lore. Truth be told, most likely Doug Flutie will be remembered primarily for his hail mary pass against Miami in 1984 to give Boston College the 47-45 win over the Miami Hurricanes. That pass and subsequent catch had an impact on Boston sports history, the life of Doug Flutie and the life of Gerard Phelan. Phelan, was the reciever at the other end of that hail mary pass from Doug Flutie. He didn't recieve as much hoopla as Dougie did, but it certainly impacted his life quite a bit.
However, nothing has impacted his life, quite like having a son, Alex Phelan. Greard Phelan will never forget the heroics he and Doug Flutie pulled at the end of the Miami game back in 1984, but he knows his lasting legacy is his son, who is currently playing for the Xavier High School squad as the starting quarterback.
Alex Phelan is forging a legacy of his own. You can read all about it here.

The world of sports is a buzz with March Madness and the C's and the B's and the Sox, but not the ORB...nope Timmy and Adam are exchanging recipes and work-out tips. Ok, maybe not recipes, but definitely workout tips, they gotta get in shape for Man Weekend!!This week there's a tranny in the mix and no Eddie Murphy isn't in town, we're talking A-Rod who apparently got off to a rocky start in NYC (was that punn too much of a reach?) Madam Kristen has named our friend A-Rod as one of "her" clients.
Also in the news, the C's and the B's look to be back on track and Schill is hanging up his bloody sock in favor of writing a blog and trashing everybody on EEI...WE LOVE HIM!!
So sit back, relax and crack a cold one, it's Wicked Pissa Dude Radio, the ORB.

There was other important news to cover too including Timmy's recent excursion with his son to their first Father/Son BC Basketball game and subsequent trip to the LOON!! Also, the Sox are on the verge of wrapping up a deal with Jonny Lester and securing what could be a very solid lineup for the '09 season.

In another brilliant move that will surely add to the legacy of the gunslinger Al Davis, he has knee jerked DeAngelo Hall out of Oakland. Hmmm, a stud position player that underperformed in the managerial quagmire known as the Oakland Raiders. Sound familiar? Thanks Al, we need to firm up the secondary here in New England. The counterpoint is of course that he would not fit in here, he is not a "Patriots kinda guy." Really? Corey Dillon, um, Randy Moss, sound familiar? But he is a Michael Vick sympathizer. But he has been underwhelming since his fresh start in Oakland. Fresh start in Oakland, is there such a thing? We can't afford to not take a long look at this guy. I as a BC fan, was unfortunately on the receiving end of a great deal of his stellar play as a defensive back for VA Tech. The balance of his contract would be a rent anyway. It's another Monday night and that means another episode of Wicked Pissa Dude Radio. Big thank you to Scotty Dukes for joining us as our resident NBA expert. Our man will be back for the NBA draft, because God knows Timmy and I don't know a thing about the guys coming out of college ball, except the second rounders from BC (just kidding Timmy.)
Enjoy the show. Shoot us an e-mail @ wickedpissadude@gmail.com and tell your friends to subscribe to the show.
