    Episode 149 - The Difference

Big changes at Wicked Pissa Dude. Adam scored a gig after 9 months on the beach and close to 30 interviews (some in his pj's). Also this is the first episode of the podcast available exclusively on the new server. Another change is the production schedule as Timmy and Adam may be recording the weekend wrap up on Sunday nights when it is possible. This week being the first as Adam heads off to his first day back to the grind on Monday. The guys get right into it with the Celtics and Lakers post game as they welcome a very hung over Uncle Dukes for the "Big 3". Who was the difference maker in the big tilt at the Garden? Timmy has his pick. They also take a look at the almost final fantasy scores for the week that was in Wicked Pissa Nation. Thanks for listening and have a great week.

We Got Baby Back, Baby Back...

The Boston Celtics announced today that the club has re-signed forward Glen Davis to a contract. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed. “Glen has been a big part of our success for the past two years and we are very excited to have him back,” said Danny Ainge, Celtics President of Basketball Operations. Davis, a 6’9”, 289 lbs, forward has spent two seasons with the Celtics and had a breakout 2008-09 season in which he averaged 7.0 points and 4.0 rebounds per game. The former LSU Tiger continued his breakout campaign in the 2009 playoffs during which he averaged 15.8 points and 5.6 rebounds per game. Davis made 16 starts during the 2008-09 regular season and averaged 12.6 points and 5.6 rebounds in 33.0 minutes per game. “Big Baby” scored a career-high 24 points against the Memphis Grizzlies on March 21, 2009. Davis also hit the biggest shot of his career to date when he nailed a game-winning jumper against the Orlando Magic in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals to send the series back to Boston tied 2-2. During the First Round of the 2009 playoffs against the Chicago Bulls, Davis averaged 18.1 points and 6.7 rebounds.

    Episode 102 - Bronx Cheer

The long horrible trip to New York is over and Adam & Timmy have plenty to talk about. Press conferences and curtain calls, neither of which brought any joy to Red Sox Nation. "Big" news for the Celtics as another favorite son stays home for now. Brady might have a new agent in Ari Gold (Timmy will explain) and the damaged goods that the Bruins have already inherited from north of the border. All that and the fantasy round up for another edition of Wicked Pissa Dude is here for your Monday night. Thanks for listening, subscribe if you haven't yet and tell your friends.

KG, Oh how we miss Ye!

So the C's have dropped 4 out of 5 and are only a half game up on the Orlando Magic for the 2 seed in the east. Now I know that I said on TNA that we should not talk about the one seed and what needs to happen with that for Celts to do well in the playoffs blah, blah. Let me rescind that and say "Hold on to the effin two seed at least!" Sorry if that sounded a little panicked, but if you look at this little slide that they are on, let's break it down a little shall we.

It would be one thing if they were losing these games to the LA Lakers, Cleveland Cavaliers, or even the San Antonio Spurs. No the C's are losing to the Magic, Heat, Bucks, and Bulls. The only one glimmer of happiness was a win against the Grizzlies and to be honest watching that game I was not sure we were going to win that one either(thank you Ray Ray) all of this points to one thing and that is Kevin Garnett the Celtics miss you terribly. All of the talk that the C's can win with out him "Look they are undefeated with KG out of the lineup!" those days are long gone.
Trust me I am the first to point out that the rest of the team is not on the up and up either with Davis, Scal, TA, and possibly the other Allen (Ray hurt his elbow last night) being out also hurts this team, but when you surrender 127 points to the freakin' Bulls there is a glaring emptiness in the middle of that paint that needs to return.

We all want KG back in the worst way I know this and we all want him back for the stretch run so that means he has to be healthy, but damn watching these games without him is just painful. So in closing Kevin by all means, get well soon, like by this Friday against the Spurs.

    One Step Closer

The buyout of Stephon Marbury's Knickerbocker contract is complete. He will officially clear waivers on Friday and some NBA insiders feel he could be in Celtic green as early as Sunday. Fine. I just want my green and whites! If you are new to the show and or podcast then you might not know that I have an affinity for ghetto fabulous sneakers. The low cost Starbury line of athletic footwear scratches me right wear I itch. Available at Amazon now that Steve & Barry have celebrated their Grand Closing. Que lastima. None the less, bring 'em on. The shoes, the 20 points per game and the skull tattoo. Welcome Stephon.

    Watch out tonight

I am keeping my fingers crossed that the big 3 have a monstah game tonight because with King James coming off of his worst performance in his playoff history, he is sure to rebound in a big way. That is unless Paul and Ray shut him down, which is a good possibility.

For the record, King James? What kind of nickname is that? It's exhausting. To be honest if we weren't playing the Cav's I would have nothing bad to say about him, so I won't bash on him just to bash on him, but please King James is so presumptious it makes me sick.

So do the Celtics win tonight? I hope so. I think they need to win all four at home. My vote is, let's go undefeated at home so we can win in front of our home town crowd. I mean let's be real, the Sox haven't won either of their two series in Boston, the Pats obviously haven't...here's our chance. Let's win one at home so Red can RIP!!!

    GO CELTICS!!!
